Anupama Sharma, MD, MPH

Pediatrics
Eastside Clinic

I view health care as a human right to which all persons should have access despite socioeconomic barriers.  For this reason, I choose to work at SBNC, where, every day I am able to apply my worldview, along with my training and life experiences from the dynamic cities of New Orleans and New York City, to better the health outcomes of my little patients; reminding the children that enter our Eastside Clinic to take good care of their bodies, their minds, to be engaged in their communities, and to Dream Big is my utmost passion and privilege.

Hobbies:

My professional interests include international child health, child advocacy, high risk youth, and public health and policy. I enjoy Native American and Asian literature, podcasts, jewelry making, our Santa Barbara sunsets, beach life, and most importantly, I love exploring the universe through the eyes of my beautiful daughter.
